The short version
These terms are an agreement between you and Sufian, the individual developer of the Phone Cleaner app for iPhone (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Phone Cleaner you accept these terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If the two ever conflict, the Standard EULA wins. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You may use Phone Cleaner if you are old enough to accept these terms where you live, or if a parent or guardian has agreed to them for you. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.
Phone Cleaner helps you find look-alike photos, large videos, old screenshots and duplicate contacts, and gives you tools such as Images to PDF, QR codes, speaker clean, a speed test and device info. Suggestions such as “similar”, “best shot” or the amount of space you can free are automatic estimates and may not always be right.
You decide what to delete or merge. The app never deletes anything without your confirmation and the iOS system alert; deleted photos go to Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps them for about 30 days, and contact merges can be undone in the app for 24 hours. After that, changes may be permanent. Please keep a backup (for example iCloud Photos or a computer backup) of anything important.
Your photos, videos and contacts are analysed on your iPhone and are not uploaded. How the app handles information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
The cleaners and tools in Phone Cleaner are free to use. Phone Cleaner Pro is an optional upgrade with the benefits shown on the Pro screen in the app at the time you buy. It is offered as:
Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store in your local currency before you confirm, and may change; a price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and Apple tells you in advance when a subscription price rises. Introductory or launch prices may be offered for a limited time.
Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same length and current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Cancelling. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds ourselves; you can request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring. Use “Restore purchase” on the Pro screen or in Settings to bring Pro back on a new or reset iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. Family Sharing applies only where the App Store says it does.
You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the app except as the law allows; not to use it to break the law or anyone’s rights; not to interfere with the services it relies on (for example by abusing the speed test); and not to use QR codes you create to mislead or harm others.
The app relies on Apple services (the App Store, StoreKit, iOS frameworks) and, for the speed test, on Cloudflare’s public speed-test service. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for services we do not control, and a tool may stop working if such a service changes.
The app, its design, text, graphics and icon belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Under the Standard EULA you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. Fonts and other open-source parts are used under their own licences. Your photos, contacts and the content you create stay yours.
We may update, change or remove features, and may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new date; important changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Sections 3, 8 and 11 to 14 continue to apply after termination. Ending use of the app does not cancel a subscription — cancel it as described in section 5.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, that every look-alike or duplicate will be found, that suggestions will be correct, or that a particular amount of space will be freed. Speed-test and device information are estimates for general information only. Some countries do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, photos or contacts, arising from your use of the app — including items you chose to delete or merge. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app or Phone Cleaner Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and claims that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property rights.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules; this does not take away mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Standard EULA are the whole agreement about the app.
